Processing Facilities

Employment in our processing facilities requires that you are 18 years of age and are available to work during "business hours". Additional information is as follows.

Rye Plant : Season runs Mid July - Mid August : Employees are responsible for assisting Processing & Warehouse Manager in daily operations, including but not limited to bagging & stacking seed, operating fork lift, assisting in proper inventory & warehouse procedures, and maintaining a clean environment. Must be able to life 56 lbs consistently and able to withstand heat and dust. 

Sorting Seed Corn : Early September - Mid October : Employees are responsible for quality control of the seed corn before it passes into the final stages of production. As the corn is harvested, these line workers sort out any remaining rouge or "off-type" ears, ensuring that our hybrid seed corn is clean and uniform.
